a Baltic Sea, actually, but well..
 at this time of year there are lots of swans dwelling in the shallow waters along the coast of the bay. so the swan theme was naturally lingering in the air. i was hoping to get some sunrise action, but unfortunately (or luckily, i dunno) this cloud blanket arrived a few hours too early as i hoped it would. the hue of the clouds may be actually a little off compared to how it acually looked, but it is still very close to the feel i wanted to capture. some tech details: Nikkor 12-24 @14mm F4, 4sec Hoya CPL conversion from 12bit RAW file in Adobe Camera Raw, minor adjustments and formatting in Photoshop CS3. |
